Actually your only looking at it from one perspective. Dzeko is so much better than Welbeck in so many other aspects => Better vision, Better aerial ability, better pace definitely and also better shooting power and accuracy. Go and check the stats. Welbeck used to play as a midfielder before and thats why he is so mobile and his passing and movement is very good.

Better vision and Arial ability?, dzeko hardly ever wins a header from a goalkick or kick upfield and have you watched some of welbecks lay offs to rooney?

Go and watch some of his old videos mate. He is one of the best headers of the ball in football. Just that we dont play the long-ball/aerial crosses into the box much and so we dont get to see too much of that part of him. But he definitely much better than welbeck in that area. Also better in vision, if you remember the number of inch-perfect passes through the defense he has made to silva/johnson.
