No an in answer this is exactly why I don't like the false 9. It does means no runs in behind. It allows the defenders to constantly be facing the front. It does not give the team a focus and is generally much easier to defend against. Messi and Totti are the only two players I have seen do it well.
 
Bayern have clearly rocked into town having seen us humiliate them on their own patch thinking they've got fuck all to do to win this game, and as they're being reminded football just does not work like that.
 
Right I'm just going to say it. Despite popular media opinion we are a much better team than Bayern. They are getting dicked by the worst rag side in my living memory whereas 7 days ago we took them apart in second gear.

Worrying thing is this reminds me of when Chelsea won the bloody thing. Bayern playing shit, Barca losing, the rags playing shit but scraping through.
