Lescott and Milner have had great games, almost every block/tackle is being made by J-Lo and Milner is looking like a very good attacking outlet. Having said that Moldova would struggle in league 2.

We must be watching different games then, despite his goal. Been terrible imo. Lescott's been England's best player though.

Are you watching with your eyes shut then and just listening to the commentary?

If you have watched Milner, you will have seen him make intelligent runs only for his team mates not to find him, you will have seen balls bounce off him because they were pinged at him at hip level, you will have seen him deliver poor crosses because he was having to chase overhit passes and you will have seen him make tackle after tackle, interception after interception because this team of players for the second tiers of polish and Israeli football were skipping past players from Liverpool and United. You will have seen him hurtle back into defence to provide cover for Johnson and Baines.

Good players look better with good players around them. Milner was playing for England.

Gunnar Nielsen looked like he had a decent game despite losing 3-0.

Love Lescott but he always treats the ball like a bomb at his feet. :D

I think Cleverley and Walcott are worse at that, they only play one touch football, even when there is 20 yards of space to run at the opposition, they pass it everytime. So frustrating. Walcott came on and picked the ball up and just ran 30 yards into Moldova's penalty area and I was thinking why the fuck hasn't Cleverley been doing that all game? One touch may be good in a training exercise, but the space was there all game. I thought that when Carrick came on he picked Milner out lots of times where Gerrard didn't have the balls to play a few over the top. All in all, it was better than Euro 2012, but still annoying that the old guard are plodding along with more caps.

Spain v SA 2d half Xavi makes it 3-0

David Silva sub (Cazorla off) :)

4-0 Villa penalty
5-0 Pedro again. Good ball from Silva.
