Plus, English sides used to perform in the Europa like Fulham did. Nowadays, English struggle to beat any half decent side away from home. And now, Tottenham are losing to an Azeri club at home. I'm talking about the huge decline. This year, only Chelsea are guaranteed to go through the groups. Maybe Arsenal might struggle but if they do go through, it will be their annually Round of 16 triumph.

I assumed that the court case last week about a drone at Anfield was about Slippy Steve.The post game coverage though, with Wio & Stephen fucking Gerrard, is worse than ever. I actually prefer Wio to Gerrard, as Gerrard is just a miserable **** who looks like he only ever smiles when he thinks he has to. Awful boring twat.
Then they had Paul Scholes doing Utd's game. Remembering his, not without cause, criticism of some City performances, I stayed tuned awaiting his vicious dismembowelling of Utd after their comedy defaeat to a pub team. "They did really well" he said.

This is why we have to go after pep in the summer. His football would send English football dizzy. Pellegrinis football has been brilliant, but I can't see anyone matching us with pep in charge.

tbh we are miles ahead in the league right now and playing some great football, no need for change imo. Bayern aren't exactly playing great either
Meh....that's just a lame excuse. The English league is over already with City winning the league, it's just a fight of top 2-4 now. Well imo, Arsenal are a better side than Zagreb, City are a better side than Juve & rags are absolutely miles better than PSV. Why all 3 have lost is a bit of a mystery but all 3 have performed at a much inferior standard than they would in the Premier League. In City's case that has been happening since before we even qualified for the Champions League, with some appalling performances in the Europa League.
The worst performance was actually vs your lot, who are not very good at all yet beat us easily. If we played like that in the Prem we'd be relegated.
The fact Celtic are currently beating Ajax with 10 men wheras we got hammered by them not so long ago, is an indication as to just how far we drop below standard when we play in Europe.
Literally anyone could beat us on the day imo. But I recon sooner or later we will give one of the big boys an unholy arse fucking & then it will change forever.
