This Weeks other PL Fixtures Week 5

Well that's piss poor from Spurs, not giving the ball back when the other team puts it out for an injury. Especially as it was a pretty nasty challenge from Mason that injured the guy in the first place.

Still no idea why Pochetino isn't under more scrutiny, he's done a shit job at Spurs and taken them backwards, while playing terrible, dull football. Kane bailed him out last season with a collection of random, completely out of the blue goals, but they never look like scoring. Managers who play incredibly dull, sideways and backwards football seem to be taking over the premier league, no idea why as it's neither entertaining or successful

They scraped it, how many last minute winners did Eriksen pop up with? The major point is, Spurs should be buying and doing much better than they are. They'll have to make major changes if they want even close to 5th this season

Well to be fair, only 1 maybe 2 ( Bentaleb? ) have been bought for that role, Dier was bought as a defender and Dembele bought aa few years back as an attacking !midfielder. But I do agree, far too many average players, they waited until deadline day to make an offer for Wanyama and Witsel, the guys a dunce. They've went from Modric to this.... That's not just a small drop, that'd a catastrophic drop in quality.

Edit: if you're referring to the team as a whole then its even more damning with absolute duds in Lamela, Fazio, Soldado and to a certain degree Chiriches. Probably more that I've forgotten.

i thi nk they played some good football last year, just to reliant on kanes goals, dont know why they didn't just buy austin
 
A Sunderland win drops Chelsea in the relegation zone. Pity they couldn't score in a brothel though.

Ye they played some nice stuff but Eriksen was at the heart of it and he's out and as you said Kane's goals helped too, that midfield of theirs is mid table stuff, not good enough for where they've been finishing lately. I personally think they need 2 CM's, a winger and depending on whether Trippier is given a chance and Son and N'Jie playing then a RB and ST/AM possibly.

trippier should be their right back and they have a very talented young winger in pritchard whoi they aren't playing. Son looks average
