Much better expirience for me this time round. Thought as they go alot of stick last time round they deserve a bit of credit this time. From checking in at the desk to and the inflight experience thought they were first class. Coach journey to Dam square great. Only slight issue was where the coaches at the end of the game, not much direction as to where to find them. But over all happy with the whole set up. Thumbs up from me. Cheers TC.

Maybe they were trying to impress the City officials I heard were on the trip?

As for the coaches at the end, that was down to the police apparently, they moved all the coaches twice and boy it was like walking back into Amsterdam itself!!

BTW I didn't travel with TC but heard from others about it before anyone says how can I say anything!! :-)

i wont be going with thomas cook again. when we came out of the stadium yes the coaches had gone but there was no one there from TC to tell us where to go but spikes guys had cards in the air so they could gather up fans on their trip. TC reps apologised said they did not know about coaches being moved but what they could and should have done was the same as Spikes crew outside of the ground

yeah that was my concern, i waited for the stadium to clear before me and my dad left and when we went outside there where no one around. I asked a few city fans and no one had a idea, I then rang the card the rep gave us and the lady i spoke to said its easy just go over the bridge! I said are you here she said no im in the uk then I told her that there a about 7 different bridges around the ground! like I said it was only my disappointment, the rest of the trip was a great day with them.

A minor gripe, but I could have done without them serving that revolting food on the way back, nearly threw up at the smell.

But the important criticism was the lack of a rep at the end of the game to explain where the coaches were.

We had Danny Wilson on our flight yesterday, and they were trying to impress. Let's start with a positive, the cabin crew were brilliant they managed to get everybody a meal out and Tea or Coffee and cleared up in 50 minutes, they were also very friendly. The Pilot as made his announcement stood at the front of the plane facing his customers, that was also good to see. Were the cabin crew and Pilot hand picked for this trip after Madrid. Now a couple of negatives the plane was very cramped with very little leg room, also when we went through security we were held waiting to board the plane because the plane wasn't ready to board it had been sat there since 10.15CET then the usual mad dash and wait again. Spikes trip flowed as they went through security they boarded nice steady flow. The coaches not TC fault, but if Sports Options could get people on the ground to let his customers know where they had been parked where couldn't TC. Ronnie the TC guy apologised for the confusion but sorry Ronnie, once again TC blame somebody else for there problems. One company go out of there way to help customers but TC blame the police. We know they moved the coaches but you done nothing to help your customers yet again. Yesterday was my 10th and last trip with TC. There's 4 of us who travel abroad and we have just cancelled Dortmund. Spike I'll be on the phone in the morning.
