I saw this clip yesterday but I didn’t realise the seriousness of what he’d done until I’ve just read it.

I know someone better equipped in the knowledge of law than me will explain why he’s not on remand, however I can’t fucking understand it at this point. It literally says his crimes are that serious, he needs sentencing at crown court.

He needs beaten to death within days of starting whatever sentience he ends up getting - prolonged beating at that. Reading what he’s done has made me feel sick.

I don't understand why he was tried at a magistrates court in the first place. The absolute zero remorse and smug arrogance from one so young means he should get the maximum sentence allowed and he will be a danger to children for the rest of his life.

Im no good with the law and its rules but it said about not being sentenced at youth court. Can people under 18 go to crown initially?

I hope he doesn’t get some kind of protection. He clearly has issues. He needs to be in a position where serious fucking criminals can get him.

Yes not sure if the trial started when he was under 18 or not. The crimes were bad enough but when I saw how smug and arrogant he was it made my blood boil. If I was one of the parents I would do time for that piece of shit.

I agree to an extent, however with that, Watkins wouldn’t have had all those years of fear, regular beatings and then the ultimate hiding that took his life.

For beasts like this I’ve always thought a concrete room with no windows, a concrete bed with no bedding. A hole in the ground to piss and shit in, and then shit food and water posted through. No human contact. No exercise. Let them rot and go insane.

I can get on board with this too blue. Problem is, (IMO) as a society we've gone soft to a degree, and now these monsters are awarded protection instead of the hell their life should truly be. Its mind boggling stuff.

And, the law says I can only use a firearm for threat to life. That doesn’t sound like a cheerful event to me, but then I’m not you.

Should I be able to neutralize a threat to my life and that of my wife (my children are adults now and out of the house) or should we play victims for society so you can feel better about yourself?

And, last I checked, MURDER isn’t legal in either country.

I know these things can create reflexive hyperbole in people who can’t understand a society where guns are legal and people UNDERSTAND the risks of threatening the life of innocents, but that’s no excuse to print it.
