Looks like they are going for a more guardians of the galaxy feel, thinkarvel will outshine DC morbid films.again this summer.

 
How does this tie into the plot?

For those interested this is the Hollywood directorial debut of Taika Waititi (what we do in the shadows, boy, hunt for the wilderpeople).... there's rumour going round that Jermaine clement (flight of the conchords/writing partner), bet taika that he wouldn't have the balls to cut Thors locks - apparently the studio were livid.. would love this to be true!

Most studios are shown the 'rushes' or 'dailies' (depending on how 'hands on' the studio is and especially if they're spending a huge f-ing wad on the film), so I would find that patently untrue.

Otherwise Mr Edwards would have made "Rogue One" his exact image!

But what if he convinced the studio this was a great idea???

Do one bigg, I expect the big reveal once the film bags a couple of hundred million at the box office!

LOL! So, how do you qualify your statement that "apparently the studios were livid"??!!

Come on, Zin, you're too smart for that nonsense!! Lol!

Anyway, it genuinely looks like the FIRST ACTUAL comic book film that you think 'YES!' about!

The 'Thor' character has improved hugely just from the clip!
 
The Hulk was a spoiler. Shouldn't have been in the trailer but at the same time added more reason to watch this.

All these Thor movies but no rainbow bridges.

Unfortunately the films they've already announced planet hulk will not fit into it as basically that's what he's dressed up as now so how's he got there ? Last avengers he left for somewhere on earth

Think I'm not really reflecting on 'Planet Hulk'. If this 'Thor' film is a success, they may look at 'Hulk' against other nemesis' such as 'Abomination' (again), 'Red Hulk', 'Thanos', 'Galactus' (?), 'Leader' and 'Maestro' ('Hulk' of the future after crushing all super heroes of foes alike to rule the world).

Most of it is super unlikely, but 'Hulk' (well 'Banner'...) has a personality disorder with a few characters, a derivative of Banner's fear of not being control, ironically, which is where 'Joe Fixit' comes from and may provide a rich tapestry from which to build stories from!
 
Thing is they've already planned out until inhumans so even if hulk is a success I don't think squeezing a film in would go with the story arc they've already got plans for

Well, if they're that far, then it's inevitable that "World War Hulk" comes into play near that point.

That might be interesting and still takes things off world.
