Thoughts on the start to the season? | October thoughts (p12)

Pretty optimistic the rebuilding is going well and we are heading in the right direction. Haaland, Foden, Doku, Donna looking like they are at PL winning level with Rodri getting up to speed, Kovacic to come back and Nico showing good signs of improvement. Also looking forward to seeing if Bobb , Cherki , Marmoush and Khusanov live up to the potential they have shown alongside the likes of O,Reilly and other academy lads. We also have plenty of manoeuvre ability in the transfer market when we need it (though I think we won’t do anything till the summer).

What a difference a few weeks make. I was stewing coming out of the ground at Brighton and it took me a day or 2 to calm down.
Feeling so much more confident about this season and we are moving into position niceley. Cherki,Ait Nouri back soon, not sure how long Omar will be out but it's all positive for me.
Beat Everton and we could go top which will certainly put others on alert.
May not win it but another good window next summer and I feel we will be ready.

Things are definitely looking up after a difficult start to the season. Getting Ait-Nouri, Khusanov, Cherki, Kovacic and Marmoush back will give us a huge lift in terms of squad depth and options. Got another run of winnable games coming up (Everton, Villareal, Villa, Swansea, Bournemouth, Dortmund) - win all those and it will set us up nicely for the Liverpool game at The Etihad on 9th November.

We are picking up points but the buying of replacements not the quality we have had in the past.
I also think the Prem league for entertainment has been pretty poor.
All about boring negative tactics & 11 men behind the ball .
Entertain the fans of all teams .

These are Peps first signings mate, they took time to bed in and some just flopped. It's the same now IMHO.
