The first half was as dire as anything I've witnessed this season. Hoof and hope all bloody 45 minutes.

Happy for Pompey though. A few more bob in the bank will go a long way top helping them out.


Don't know what it is about Pardew. I just don't like the bloke. Seems an arrogant f****r to me.

anyone else notice something strange about added on time. only 3 mins. 5 goals in 2nd half. thought it was accepted as 30 secs per goal. plus 3 or 4 subs i think. also 30 secs each. there was a sub in added on time but webb blew after 3 mins 3secs. beats me.

Very true. However, the way Southampton were defending (very susceptible to the counter attack), they could have ended up playing until midnight and wouldn't have caught Pompey.
