As I understand, threads started by ignored posters are not visible. Is this something that can be configured otherwise? I mean, is it possible to make the threads not hidden even if the op is ignored?

Remarkably just un ignore the poster who you're ignoring :)

You could 'watch' the thread and either just go into the 'my watched threads' link to find it or even get email notification when someone posts, I've not tried it but that is the best you're getting I think.Tbh I would just like to ignore a few more without losing the threads they created :)
I'd love to know what was said here but unfortunately the person is on 'ignore' ;)This has been flagged a few times previously, but is just a frustrating part of the forum software unfortunately. There is no easy fix to the problem I'm afraid.
