Three changes I'd like to see in football

I agree with the goalkeeper one, any touch on a goalkeeper and its a foul immediately. However, a goalkeeper can barge through 5 players to get a ball and hes allowed to do it.

Are you joking? If a keeper is one-on-one with a striker and doesn't end up saving the ball but makes contact with the striker, it's an instant red even if slightly better thinking and a raised arm would have meant a saved ball and no red. One mistake from a keeper in a Clear GoalScoring Opportunity and they are off.

thats all part of the job tho

one mistake and chances are you'll concede a goal

i'm was a keeper and often benefitted from refereeing decisions when i've dropped the ball from a corner/cross when under some pressure and the ref gave a free kick. I have since become a ref and now i'm very harsh on keepers in these situations and rarely give them a freekick when in my opinion the player makes a genuine attempt to play the ball fairly

I would prefer the off side rule to revert back to the original rule ........ if any player is off side then its an offside ...... none of this "not interfering with play" malarky and waiting until the offside player touches the ball before giving the decision.

It would stop all this ambiguity and actually make it easier for officials to make the right decision.
