Man City inched loser to Champions league football today with a tense 1-0 win over Spurs at Eastlands.
The game turned ugly in the 60th minute when Tevez lashed out at Palacios after a brutal tackle on the Argentine. Referee Steve Bennett controversially giving El Apache a straight red and Palacios only a yellow for the original offense, leaving the city slicker banned for the remainder of the season.

Man City manager Mancini's quote of 'we are not going into battle' seemed somewhat ironic as he was physically restrained during the incident, while Bellamy was also shown a yellow for verbally abusing the ref.
