Arsenal fans seem more fickle than most but I wonder if the attendance tonight is a reflection of a wider issue of the number of games, prices and travel fans have to suffer to watch their team.

So many games feel pointless in the modern footballing calendar. Personally I cannot blame them for not bothering.

Memorable (historic arf) night for Lingard, it'll be his only ever time being united skipper (I expect), and its one to remember too, losing to a team from Kazakhstan, something no english club has ever managed before, couldn't happen to a nicer fella.
