Tick Tock!

They will be Arab owned inside a year.
Exactly.

End of FFPR. And their fans will be telling us "they are just competing with City's billions" and "their owners are buying into the history of the club."

To borrow from the Royle Family:

They've "...got more faces than the Town Hall clock and all of them miserable."

American owners are a recipe for disaster in premier league terms and always will be.

Manure have only stayed competitive because of Fergie and the mentaity on the pitch of the players they put out ( and some dodgy refs especially at Old Trafford (LOL)).

Like Liverpool before them the premiership is now rife for a new force to rise ala City and the revenue generated from TV rights will ensure this will happen.

Which side will it be?

Lets wait and see.

Am I the only one that thinks this isn't too bad for them?
6% loss in revenue despite going out in the group stages of Champs..

Last year they made €53m from making the finals which means if they got to a similar stage this year their revenue would have been HIGHER than last year.

Yes I know they aren't guaranteed to get to the final/semi-final every year but I wouldn't bank on them going out in the group stages every season

I'm guessing they maximised income last year - won the league, CL final, height of their popularity, ticket prices as high as people can bear and whored out every part of the club that wasn't bolted down to the highest commercial sponsor. There's only so many shit lampshades you can sell... Only one direction from here for them hopefully when the glory hunters start to tune out. That one strike of a ball from Aguero was worth his transfer fee alone - untold damage to them, untold benefit to us.

This week gets better and better.

I've been chasing down a local Rag from my local who as always (surprise surprise) watched their game on telly last week whilst I was at the Etihad with 45,000 other Blues doing what proper supporters do : support.

Needless to say he's gone to ground.
He'd have been better of facing the music straight away 'cos now I've got an £87m drop in cash reserves to hit him with as well. Happy days, eh ?

Why would the glazers ever want to get rid of that fat cashcow? They are the preverbial hole in the wall machine where the glazers can take out for their own personal use as much cash as they want.

This and the fact they a using the ability of whisky bollox to offset their lack of funds for talent.....long may it continue.

I actually told my rag neighbour today that we will finish 6-10 points higher than them next season.....champs again obviously.

There would be no CL revenue received in the quarter to 31st March. That would all come in the next quarter once the competition is over and they calculate the market pool.
