Ticket exchange group on facebook?

It's good to see fellow blues coming out and defending Daz but this is with the belief that he has been personally attacked in this topic when this just isn't the case.

There are many Facebook/Twitter networks all exchanging tickets for different clubs, concerts and whatever else.

As has been regurgitated enough now, the main gripe is with people who have points maintaining their stature at the top of the points table by buying tickets with the sole intention of selling them on.
Social networks allow for sellers/buyers to connect.

The solution is to reset the points tally every few seasons.
People passing on say their dead great great grandfather's LP's to their 5yr old son is only benefitting the guy who wants to sell on tx, with long term dedicated matchgoers missing out.

Another bollocks issue is the amount of tx that go to corporate sponsors.
Utter shit.

Capitalism in full force @mcfc

So someone who has been going for years through thin and thin suddenly loses all that loyalty to let the ones who either have only recently started or haven't been to as many games over the years?

Only way this points whoring will stop is when you have an ID type card with your picture and fingerprint on - if you can't go the ticket goes back to the club and is re-sld at face value to the fans with an appropriate level of points.

I agree, but do we want this over-policed state whilst going to a football match? it's already been heavily sanitised as it is.

Not everyone who has a vast amount of LP's "point whore" but for those who do - it does stop people who genuinely want to go to a game and have collected many points missing out because the point whore has bought a ticket knowingly for resale purpose, with no intention of ever initially using the ticket themselves.

The solution isn't my desire - I would be put off going to matches altogether if it was set in some futuristic sci-fi arena with everyone microchipped and scanning your fingerprint over the turnstile. Not for me.
