I have now given up.

A nice idea (£5 per ticket), foiled by the in-abilities of the fucking useless, couldn't-give-a-shit ticket office.

Im sick to death of the shit you get from them.

I hope they all get laid off. Scum.

Because it shouldn't be this hard. There is no reason whatsoever why I shouldn't be able to get them online.

I could understand a queue, but to be queued and then hung-up on is a disgrace.

I MAY try again later, im just wound-up, but if I cant get them by dinner, I wont be going definetly. Im at work and it's not easy to just keep queuing on a fucking phone.

true but by this afternoon the only seats available to non season ticketholders will be with the undead on level 3 - by Monday when the unused seasonticket seats are available the price will have doubled

Well you've got 2 choices then

1) buy a fucking season ticket then (or a half season ticket) - then you'd have no problem

2) If you that desperate for a "good seat" - then get your arse down to Eastlands.

Cannot believe some people moaning on here after 50 minutes - the people that only go once and a while FFS

im a season ticket holder cant get down till after work.
will they give my seat away if the demand is high?
i agree that season ticket holders should have had a day to get them before the accesscard holders, or people that have been to every UEFA cup home game this year

I dont mean the phone lines ...is the actual ticket office physically open for people to turn uo at and buy with hard cash/credit card

I would imagine the people who are in a position to tell you whether the ticket office is actually open or not will at this very moment be stood in the queue awaiting their turn, no doubt eager to experience the high levels of customer service on offer, I guess they are unable to email you with an answer to your question at this time.

Seasoncard holders have 5 days to claim their own seat at £5 so why the big panic ?

For anyone interested, I got 3 tickets online. Just keep retrying & you'll get through eventually.
