Do you reckon so? I was expecting that one to be popular as a lot aged under early 40s won't have done that ground before, or at least not as an adult, and it's not a huge allocation.Ipswich will easily go down to low points.

I guess it won't be much of a draw for tourists though so be interesting what points level it does reach...I'm hoping below 23.5k!
Beaker has had a season ticket since we were playing at Maine Road, used to have a different account on here but hadn’t contributed for a good while, forgot the login, so set up a different account. Is that OK?Platinum does fuck all really nowadays and no one makes anyone pay
What this is really about is JCLs getting upset because they are not first in the queue
Beaker who i replied to joined here in 2020, now I don’t know but they may have also just started following City then so no doubt they are behind in the queue
Plenty of opportunity for people to get tickets though. Brighton away went to open sale, Palace 18k, Villa now is down to 19k
If our form continues as it is there will be plenty of other opportunities also
Soton, Ipswich will easily go down to low points.
IMO the loyalty points should stay, a lot who have them will stop going, we can see that with the above. The real issue is the passing on of any tickets but that has always happened and will do forever no matter what system is in place
I’ve had a ST continually since 86/87 season but only 17390 points. In that time I’ve missed probably no more than ten home matches in all competitions.
I don’t bother even looking at away match tickets now although I still go to a few per year if there’s any spares knocking about - including today as it happens!
Platinum is what’s been the killer. What a disgraceful MONEY MAKING concept that is.

It made a big difference to those who got it who were away regulars, probably about 10k points, but it just meant they stayed where they are and other who got it fell behind at a slower rate as point were cut. You’re right, nobody is forced to pay, it’s a personal choice. Platinum did make a difference initially, and it still does for lots of City fans lower down the loyalty points ladder. If you add Platinum to CL, FA Cup, and Carabao cup scheme points, as a total, that makes a big difference in the increase each season on your loyalty points, and could and does make a difference to getting an away ticket or not.
The initial take up on Platinum was probably slow at first as people didn’t want to spend an extra £50 on their season tickets, and it was seen as nothing more than an additional money making gimmick by the club. But over the seasons, added with the cup scheme points, I think the take up on Platinum did increase a lot, because people genuinely thought it would make the difference between getting an away ticket or not. Is it worth doing now, definitely not, because away tickets are getting harder and harder to get, and the away loyalty points gaps for those away tickets is getting bigger and bigger. It made a big difference to those who got it who were away regulars, probably about 10k points, but it just meant they stayed where they are and other who got it fell behind at a slower rate as point were cut.
Annoying but not surprising! I've been to all but 2 league aways this year and there's been far too many tourists.Brazilian in front of me at a field, 400 euros off StubHub, that's where your tickets are going
