Ticket points

It is all wrong that Points can be accrued for paying £50 or for Retweeting a Club Tweet and whilst prices are always going to increase, the club really needs to remember its roots and where our club has come from and how fans have stood by them through thick and thin, sadly money can dictate whether some fans can still afford to go or not...

Does anyone know how many Ticket Points one gets for buying the new £35 Cityzens membership? Last two seasons the Blue card have I think (off the top of my head) 25 and 30 points for buying Blue with Match Ticket Priority.

The clubs explanation mail that explained Ticket Points vs City Points just said you get Ticket Points for buying season cards, cup schemes, Cityzens membership and match tickets ... so it is there, but how many is the question?

It is 25.

I bought mine a couple of days ago.

I'm glad I'm old. the way football is going, has gone, is not what I signed up for almost 50 years ago. the wonderful sense of adventure going to a live game, seeing your hero's, and they were hero's, not rotten eggs, turning out for your club. dreaming that one day you could take their place in the team. it was then a truly working mans game, a place to unwind after a hard weeks graft for our dads.it was always exciting wondering who would win the league or the cup, no league cup back then of course. now it is really only ever be one of a small handful of clubs that can be successful. how the villa and Everton fans must feel god only knows. these are big big clubs, big clubs with no chance of winning a title. they can only get near the cups because the big teams rotate, even then they put the best 11 out for the final and roll them over. horrible though it was I was pleased for wigan, even that though was brought about by all that is wrong with football. in fighting, greed, and player power. I'm lucky, I've seen city win stuff first time round and now as we hoover up trophies along the way, I do though feel for the future fans who will get priced out and replaced by rich people who will attend a game and wont know the players playing, the name of the opponents, or indeed which competition we are even competing in. go to arsenal away and you'll see what I mean. all this will go on whilst proper blues will be stuck at home watching us on sky or whoever and listening to the commentator inject the scum in to every move, and cringe as we score only to produce negative bile as we win yet another title or cup. do they care who wins the title ? no, are they rags fans? maybe not, are they told what to say and when? absolutely. doesn't make for good matchday enjoyment does it? bring back john motson.
football is fucked.

The game has moved forward at such a pace that it is catching most people out.

I miss having to queue for Big Match Tickets, I miss the Away games not knowing how many fans turn up but sadly we cannot have everything and City are playing Catch Up on the World Wide Marketing front and that comes at a price, I am sure in a few years time that things will settle down and pricing will be in line with the other major clubs.

Cheers mate, I have just checked mine, for the last three seasons I have gotten 50 pts each, 25 for Blue and 25 for something extra I got, like in 2011/12 it was digital edition of Matchday program, in 2012/13 it was Matchday ticket priority etc.

This year there is no mention of anything and I too bought mine (and two others in the family) on the 21st itself, they day it was launched, cards not delivered yet but no points added to account either.

Have you received your cards? And 25 pts in your account??
