ticket prices v arsenal from arsenals point of view

How about a rule. When the clubs play each other the prices are the same at each ground for the away fans. So when arsenal charge us £62 we charge them £62. It wouldn't be pretty to start with but it could provoke a reaction from all clubs fans rather than just for odd games that get a bit of press and then that's the end.

I hope that the Arse fan , and many others , get their facts right.
1 -City rent the stadium from the Council- pay upwards of £3M;
2- City coughed up £20M to turn the Commonwealth Games Stadium into a football stadium.
3 -City gave Maine Road to the Council as part of the package.
4 - The Council sold the land to Developers and made a packet.

Its nice being a council tenant with no debts. - tell that to the rags.

That doesn't help the fans though. It'd be in both clubs' interest to agree a high price. It needs to be in the Premier League regulations that if you want to compete in the Premier League then you must provide 10% or 3000 (whichever is less) of the total capacity to away supporters at no more than, say £30.

£58 is pretty much what Arsenal fans pay per home game for a season ticket. It is a different world for them. A £58 ticket is like a £35 one for most of us. Should charge them £100, they can afford it. Article makes some valid points but when Arsenal are one of the worst culprits it isn't really appropriate they whinge, especially considering what they spend for a home ticket. Also the article becomes null and void when it turns to petty moaning about our club and costs. Arsenal's owners are plenty rich enough to provide cheaper tickets. We paid for our stadium, pay rent annually and Maine Road was given to the Council to sell on, that may not equate to the same as the Emirates costs, but our move was just better business.

Arsenal fans complaining about high ticket prices. How amusing. It's like Hitler complaining about anti-Semitism.

Perhaps if FFPR wasn't forcing owners to squeeze every last penny out of fans the prices would be a bit cheaper. That's the trouble with stupid, ill-conceived laws. They always have unforeseen side effects.

£58, for either home or away fans, is ridiculous.

Surely prices can't keep rising exponentially, although I suspect it will only get worse once FFPR kicks in.

Disgusting prices all around...

No matter what club, away fans should all pay the same.

We pay £20 when going to Emirates Stadium.
Gooners pay £20 when coming to Eastlands.

This is how it should be.

Greedy barstewards are killing this game with the outpricing of Fans.

Should be capped at £15 for all PL games.
Why should they? Even £20 is too cheap. IMO adult prices ranging from £30-£40 depending on stature of the game would be sensible, but not fucking nearly 60 pounds!!

Good afternoon lads/ladies.

I run shewore.com, saw a bit of traffic here so thought id come on and say hello, I will not take credit for the article as was written by one of my writers, matt.

Firstly The Arsenal's ticket prices are without question a joke and I tip my hat to everyone who boycotts games at our bowl. Personally I have never paid over £50 for a home game and never will pay more than that. I'd rather sit in the pub, which a lot of the old skool AFC fans do these days.

My one hope is one day fans from all clubs get together and protest about what I can only call the greed and abuse of loyal fans. Until we all get together and make a stand things will only get worse.

Please tell me this is a joke
