With all the apathy (rightly or wrongly) regarding Champions League you would think they would try their best to keep fans onside. This is only going to alienate the support further. High profile games they will get away with it but the less glamorous ones will be poorly attended if this carrys on.

It's an utter scandal, and reason enough for me (and others presumably) not to bother with euro aways any more. Throw in the alcohol ban, shit views and getting kept in after the game. Its about absolute control of people and an extension of the thinking that if you are a football fan then you are obviously guilty of something so lets make it as difficult as possible for you. Im certain the Police both local and GMP have an input as well.

Like I've said, i dont go but if i did, i certainly wouldn't given these draconian measures, especially given what its costing as well.

The club is begging us to embrace the competition yet they think shit like this is the way to go about it?

correct and i know its Glasgow but it could be Madrid or Rome, don't they realise fans might just want to see some of the city before taking in the match, very poor whoever organised this shambles
