Ticket re-selling

One of the great wind-ups of the present age.
This morning I was eligible to purchase tickets for Peter Kay on ticketmaster. The gun went off at 10.00am and I spent the next half an hour trying to purchase 2 tickets for the Mrs and me. Never got close. Gave up after 30 mins trying repeatedly to persuade the site that I am not a robot. As sure as eggs is eggs, I log onto the ‘get me in’, ‘stub hub’ sites no more than 30minutes later and they have literally scores of tickets all x 4 original face value at least.

When will someone put a stop to this complete and utter rip off?
 
I went on that Viagogo site last night looking for Liam Gallagher tickets for Manchester. Ticket £91, said on the site the ticket is mine for 10 mins while i went through the process of buying it. There was 4 mins left after I pressed to confirm purchase, next thing I get an error message, saying this ticket has now been sold! Get fucked I had 4 minutes left!

So I had a look at the next ticket £101, I'm not paying that but I'll put it my basket and see how much total cost was.

VAT £34

I'm glad I missed out on the first ticket has I hadn't noticed the extra charges.
 
Me and a mate both got tickets for Tears For fears next year. He paid 45 quid for front row-ish, I paid 35 quid for seats. Admin charge was on a percentage so he paid 7.50 per ticket and I around 6 quid. How is this set as a percentage? Robbing bastards. It's a ticket. Same printing costs. Same other costs.
 
As much as I despised the touts of the old days at least they got up at 5am and queued up around the Apollo to earn their money.
You now have twats living in all parts of the country simply buying on online and straight onto ebay or other sites. Parasites who do it for a living and pay no taxes on their gains.
Football tickets are illegal to sell on but any spiv can flog a ticket for any other form of entertainment. It's shite.
