ticket reduction for away fans at CoMS

The South Stand is sold out as I can remember. But aren't the rules to do with 'similar' seats, eg the north stand would have to pay that much too? Or is it just treating all stands as separate?

I'm not sure mate, I was guessing

That thought had crossed my mind too. Perhaps it is all ST holders now, especially as some of the displaced North Standers re-located there.
Tickets in Level 1 of North Stand 140 are £50 so the away fans price is probably in line with what we charge to home fans in the SS.

That's right. I just went on the online ticket section of the official website and tickets in 140 were coming out at that.

I think what this proves is that if you were cherry-picking games throughout the season, particularly the high category matches, there isn't nearly as much value as there used to be as prices have gone up quite drastically. However, ST's in all the stands are still very reasonably priced and it's more advantageous than before to have one.

From LFC site

'Liverpool Football Club has received an allocation of 2560 stand tickets for this ALL ticket fixture priced as follows:-

Level 1

Adult £46.00

Over 65s £37.00

Child £25.00 (under 16)

Level 2

Adult £48.00

Over 65s £39.00

Child £25.00 (under 16)

Liverpool Football Club has also received an allocation of 9 Wheelchair and 9 Personal Assistant tickets priced at £46.00 per pair.'

If we have to charge the same price for away fans as we do our own in the same area that's put the S/S up to CB prices hasn't it?

The season ticket prices are looking a lot better value than ever if that's the case. Maybe the people who have been complaining about increases might change their view if this is the case?

disgusting prices, lets keep forcing them up until only the well off can go.

i hope for the outlay the spectacle is going to be far better than last seasons bore draw.

We are brealing the Premiership rules on the number of tickets we give away fans. Should be 3,000 given our capacity. Maybe we have some dispensation from the authorities due to the design of the stadium and problems segregating fans.

just another crap modern day football invention, 3000 tickets at top price, quite sad really.

who yearns for the days when you could take 1000's away and it didn't cost you half your weeks wages.

Reduction for persistent standing? We're only getting 2,700 instead of 3,000 at Sunderland for the same reason.

Could be - it's not easy sitting down with half a dozen stolen YSL t-shirts stuffed down your keks. I bet Sports Direct have asked for the reduction to save on thefts from the store.

Mind you the new Sports Direct store in Liverpool one is a bit posh - even has an evening wear department. They have plenty of personal shoppers too - they follow the scousers round helping them choose clothing and footwear and taking them to the tills, sitting them down and go and arrange payment for them. We know them as store detectives here in Manchester.
