I was at the ground and saw the empty seats with my own eyes

Make your mind up.

lol^^^

No I was there and managed to get a ticket through my friend but like many I am not happy with seeing all these empty seats in club Wembley every time we play there I'm not sure why people want to defend the FA or claim the crowd fig was incorrect

Went with my son only 1 ticket between us, I was going to let him have my ticket and then hope to bye one near the ground, asking lots of people in jj moons if any spare tickets. Would like to thank a lovely couple who sold me a spare they had at face value, plus a couple of drinks . True blues.

Good on them

Took the plunge 10 days before the final and paid a bundle for my 4 ( but worth every penny )..
Just wanted to thank the good guys on here who offered tickets at face value in the last few days , the Green Man beer Garden had a few sellers at fv ...Cheers

club wembley - bottom line is that they are effectively season tickets - so similar to the Etihad when they claim a 'sell-out' but you can clearly see a tonne of empty seats - season ticket holders not turning up.

Most of the Club Wembley seats are owned by companies and in a lot of cases, if they don't attend that particular game (they are entitled to go to about 12/14 events per annum), then unless they ask Club Wembley to try and sell them on to other members, they cannot be arsed about the seats being empty. Getting £200/£300 back for them means nothing. There were a whole bunch of people trying to tout club wembley seats for about £250 (face was approx £209) which were mainly people attending but who had 2/3 spares.

I was sat in Club Wembley with my parents and there were plenty of empty seats around us. The large majority of punters in Club also seemed to be Sunderland. Amusingly quite a few of them appeared to think you have to dress like you're at a wedding in the Club seats.

There were a number of people sat behind us too who were your classic Club Wembley freebie types. Loud, braying posh Home Counties accents, didn't shut up throughout the game and had no idea about the football. Still that's what you have to expect when you sit in those seats.

Pleases tell me they had flowers in their button holes.

Ha ha. Some were dressed in their best togs you could tell. There were a few who still turned up in replica shirts though and were refused entry as well. Not like there weren't enough warnings about not wearing them!

There were a lot of Sunderland replica shirts in CW. I was surprised they got in. I assumed they did a quick superman change once inside.

It's a stupid rule bearing in mind that once inside you could buy scarves, retro replica shirts etc.

Tbh the stewards weren't checking under coats, jumpers etc so you could easily have got in with one on. I saw them stopping the ones who were stupid enough not to hide them.
