It is expensive and as someone said it's unfair on fans from clubs outside London. But this could be an historic season and you just have to be part of it don't you.
On a side note, the allocation criteria on the City website amused me:
"the following groups will receive tickets for this match: Supporters, Seasonal Hospitality Supporters, Owner, Board of Directors, Football Management, Players, Club Officials and Staff, Former Players, Club Partners and the MCFC Supporters Club."
Very decent of them to allow the owner to go
On a side note, the allocation criteria on the City website amused me:

No idea. Certainly more than all standard seats. There's also dress restrictions such as no football shirts or club colours I believe.
Atmosphere is always good for the League Cup final, it'll sell out easily. Sunderland and Liverpool finals were great. Competition gets a lot of stick but each club gets 30,000+ tickets unlike the FA Cup.It’s bound to sell out. If they go down to open sale they will be snapped up by those who have not had the chance to go any year never mind every year.
