tickets for last game..BEWARE

Bollocks that this game is 'sold out'. Don't believe it. More will come on sale at a higher price!

A couple of weeks ago I decided to blow a lump of my life savings and go to the last 2 matches of the season.

I am travelling 500 kms from rural Central Portugal to Faro, flying into Manchester, renting a car for 6 days and staying six nights in a hotel. (All booked and paid for.)

My daughter (lives in Stockport) has got us two tickets for Wednesday night but can't get Sunday tickets... we even tried to buy a block of 5 which she was told yesterday was the only way. Now they have all gone.

I am devastated and tomorrow I will see if they will sell me hospitality tickets but after today's WONDERFUL results maybe they all go too...

A question.

Never having been outside the Etihad when a game is on, I ask...

Is there a big screen showing the match for people who can't get in?

Thanks in advance for any info or advice.

I don't think the club is allowed to do that. Something to do with either TV rights or public safety issues. Seem to remember the same thing being discussed prior to the QPR game in 2012.

Thanks for the info.

If I can't get a ticket then I will just have to listen to it on the radio outside the Etihad.

I will be there...

Everyone without a ticket will have a sob story but can't someone sort this guy out?

JJ[/quote]Or get yourself in one of the pubs either near the ground or in the City centre. If the game's on the box, they'll be showing it.

The only way more will go on sale is if West Ham return some. They have nothing to play for so slight chance I suppose

Realise this seems like a fair-weather fan kind of thing, but since I won £400 today, I figured I'd treat my friend and I to hospitality on the final day. Ticket site isn't letting me choose a quantity of tickets though, but there's no sold out sign. This happened to anyone else before? Or should I just call the number tomorrow?

I doubt there will be much going but if you are on twitter you might be able to get a spare by following @CityTicketX or kepping an eye on Viagogo. If you choose the latter prepare to be bent over. Good luck
