Tickets for Monday

What I think should have happened was to give first choice to ST holders that missed out on Wembley then CC holders that have attended 5 or more games this season, those of s that were at wembley have already seen the team win the cup and been presented with it, this way at least the Blues that didnt get a ticket for wembley could attend the homecoming

Yes but what if 15.000 season ticket holders don't turn up? Stadium looks empty, press, rags have a field day.
The majority should have been available last night and not 4 per person which is ridiculous, I guarantee that the majority took 4 but won't use them.

Don't think so. Every blue will be there. Maybe the tickets will get passed on to others though

I really want to see City on an open-topped bus drive through the city. I have ended up with a ticket to the ground to see what exactly? Anybody know? And I'm going to miss out on seeing the bus too. I get the impression that there'll be 20,000 in the stadium and 60,000 on the streets. Seems to me that the real party will be out on the streets like it always has been traditionally for these parades. So, why are we having a do at the ground?

I think we should just go with the flow. The club aren't saying you have to be in the ground at a certain time so you could probably do both. The reason everyone wants to be in the stadium as it's a big party. The players will be out on the pitch, probably on a stage. They'll probably be music, fireworks have been promised at the end, special guests. Just generally sounds like a big party. AC Milan did it recently after a game when Boateng did his Michael Jackson moonwalk.

I'm sure a lot of people will be going to Albert Square then heading to the stadium. You could potentially go and stand on Ashton New Road and then wander into the stadium after the bus has gone past.

exactly why me and my mates are not going to the ground ,just the streets as there will be nothing different inside the stadium than we'v already seen outside

cheers Joe. Just seen the other thread about start times etc. I reckon I'll be at Albert Sq for 6 and walk to the ground sort of following the bus. Can't wait now.

Don't you want to be in the ground when City run out of the tunnel with the FA Cup?
Will be the high point of the night.

I think that's a good plan. Albert Square is at 6 and the stadium events start at 8 so you could definitely make it walking via Picadilly. Maybe fit in a pint on the way ;)
