it sold out on the 10th April also

Have I misunderstood something? I know a fair few who weren't on the FA Cup scheme last season but still got FA Cup Semi Final and Final tickets. I had presumed it was loyalty points only as the scheme only covered Home ties. Wembley is neutral.

Cant remember mate. Just got the date of the OS

I was wondering that, if you get allocated a ticket automatically during the standard rounds, and the fact that yesterday's match was a quarter final, then won't you automatically be guaranteed a ticket for the semi's at least?

I thought that's what the cup schemes were all about!
You showing your support and commitment during the early rounds was rewarded with places for the semi and the final!

(Providing we get there).

Ensuring that all four sets of fans were inconvenienced
I'm sure they'll repeat the process if at all possible.

FA Cup semi-finals are the weekend of the 13th/14th April and times, prices and selling criteria tba shortly after semi-finalists are known

I assume that the City v WBA on Monday 15th will be changed

I would hope so, but they could just move it a couple of days to the Wednesday.

Full criteria from last time we played in the semi final

This was the price and sales criteria for the last semi final against Man U

Category Price (Adult) Price (Under 16 & Over 65)
Category 1 £60 £50
Category 2 £50 £40
Category 3 £40 £30
Category 4 £30 £20
Disabled £30 (plus free Assistant)

Liverpool got 31,871 tiks last year and the prices were the same as above.

Tickets will be made available to Seasoncard holders based on loyalty point status. We would also like to reward Seasoncard holders who are active members of the Cup Games Direct scheme for the FA Cup, supporting the team throughout this season’s competition. These supporters will have the opportunity to purchase a ticket for the Semi Final from the opening day of sale, regardless of loyalty point status.

Peoffrey likes this. Perhaps sign up wasn't that high. I did it purely because I can't be bothered with the hassle of booking a seat each time. Get it sorted etc.

That was always my main reason. May be the uptake in recent seasons has been higher due to "Lessons learnt" from those who did not sign up last time

Then again, U****d put us out in the 3rd Round last season. Watford, Leeds and Barnsley weren't exactly attractive fixtures.

I might be wrong about this bit I seem to remember being told that take up for the original Cup Direct scheme was 8000. Now I bet it's closer to 25,000. I was on it the last time around and for the semi anyone on the cup scheme was given top level priority, regardless of points. This time, as long as you're on the scheme, you'll get one

No idea how many are on the Scheme, although I'd be surprised if it was as high as 25k.

I think the numbers will go up again next season based on the crowds this season - it's increasingly important to guarantee a ticket, and if it guarantees a ticket for Wembley even better.
