I'd take him before any of the other oft-mooted mids on the rumor mill. Big and strong and he can carry the ball forward with power or incredible grace. He has two incredibly cultured feet and can produce moments of dribbling magic.

I suppose Ricci is a bit unproven which would go against him but he does seem to have quite a bit of what we need especially the pace to get back and make recovery tackles would come in handy and generally seems to cruise around the place quite smoothly.
