I just think you're far far far discounting what an impactful player he can be. I think Reijnders walks into our current lineup, and we shouldn't be committed to minutes for Gundo, kova, or really Bernardo anymore.

I think he is, in current form, a better player and a better fit for our current roster than any of the 3
More than possible. I've seen him enough to have a favourable opinion of him before any links to us were mentioned but I accept I haven't watched him extensively with a mindset of how he would fit into our midfield and perhaps are undervaluing him.

My issue is less with his ability and more his age, give him the standard 12 months to settle and he's 28 before we're seeing what he can do.

I'm also fairly confident my opinion of kovacic is significantly higher than most. I think he's a fantastic player, the year before we signed him to effectively replace gundo, i had said on here hes the best replacement for a wantaway bernardo out there. once moved back to his natural 8 alongside a fit rodri i believe he will show it. I also don't buy into the bernardo is finished narrative either.

You are too obssesed with someone saying Grealish is good players for us.

And btw this is not his fucking thread so just kindly fuck off will you.
Tell that to the OP of the post that said why not play foden and Grealish - I was just replying to that....

And no I will not fuck off -

Put Rodri in our midfield and we at least match them with any other two midfielders
Rodri coming back is obviously huge but must err on the side of caution, he is turning 29 and coming off a career long and often career shortening injury

Even a 95% Rodri brings us closer in a big way but I'm not sure we can rely on him carrying our midfield, he needs support

Also need to think about competing over the next 5 years, the average age of the Dippers midfield 3 is under 25

The LFC midfielders may be young but we will be refreshing ours.

There is nothing to suggest Rodri will not be the same player. He doesn't rely on speed or twitch. It's not like 30 years ago where an ACL ended ends a career

He isn't good enough cause he isn't serious enough
He has fucking played to Pep's instructions! If Pep played him inside and allowed him to express himself he would show how good he is. The same with Phil.

He has won a treble and 3 league titles, so I am sure he doesn't give a fuck what you think!!

Foden literally Prem player of the season......Grealish did nothing....they arent even caparable in level of ability despite Fodens significant downturn this season

Grealish was a 7 out of 10 for half a season and thats it

Im absolutely certain he doesnt give a fuck what I think!
