Back in the 90s I spoke to a solicitor whose company were insuring a player ahead of his transfer from Nott'm Forest to Blackburn.

He said the player had more bonuses than there were PL clubs.
So even things like that have to be taken into consideration.

Even that as well mate. I was talking about the club to club bonuses but these days players have loyalty bonuses and all that stuff which needs to be sorted. Add to that player insurance and medicals and buying a player seems like no small task.

I'd argue its more complicated than buying a car, house, business etc. Probably not many purchases are complicated
