But more seriously, some of the shit we all got up to (Most of us anyway) doesnt reflect on the person later in life. The DM would have them thrown into jail and criminalised before we have even had a chance.

Back on topic... Can you honestly imagine that the current generation of 'social media influenced/engineered' scumbags will grow up to be decent members of society?

The main correlation is more about the risk of being caught than the punishment when you do. Although obviously there has to actually be some sort of punishment to make getting caught mean something.
