I have been bangin' on about Darijo Srna for quite some time, and I still think he would have put us into another level altogether. It was the only thing I wasn't happy about regarding our transfer summer. When we have the cash, we might as well use it to strengthen our positions that needs to be strengthened.

Trouble is that his recent form, both for his country and club, have been pretty poor.
He's also 28.

If it was summer I'd say whack in a £25-£30m offer for Sagna to Arsenal and see what they do. But being as it's gonna be january, fuck giving Arsenal that amount of money to shore up for the second half of the season. Even if Wenger inevitably only got half of it, knowing him he'd find another Vermaelen or something.

Lets wait and see if either Zabaleta or Onouha puts their hand up and does the job. I also don't mind Toure as a full back he has all the attributes and we could always chuck him there and put Komps next to Lescott which I think is a stonger back 4.

I was wanting Toure to play right back all along. I wanted to hang on to Dunne and have a back line of Toure, Dunne, Lescott and Bridge. Couldn't be more physical with speed down both flanks. I wouldn't even mind if Kompany comes back to form and moving Toure out right as I think Kompany needs to be moved back to his more natural CB.
