Time for our fans to become the impeccable?

Simple fact of the matter is, even if we applauded ever time someone score against us, and clapped every team of the pitch, we are going to be disliked, in the past we suffered "everyone's other club syndrome" because we were no threat. it's a competitive and we are now competing

This!
Scum, Arsenal, Liverpool and recently Chelsea all have arrogant fans, i long for they day when karma bites them back and they get relegated, but its not going to happen. Off course it arrogant calling clubs like Newcastle, with their recent form, or QPR who just got promoted shit sides. But clapping and changing the chants wont make any of them like us. To fans of clubs like Wolves or Villa, among many others, City will always be the ones who "sold their souls for Petro-dollars".

Should be banned IMO. Arrogant twats we are.

Erm no...we sang this when we were shit....because in our opinion we are and always have been, shit or not.

If you stopped trying to be a cock for a minute you might see that there is some validity in what i have written,as some other posters have.

To be fair there are about 3 or 4 of you who think this, just a few more than the ones who are arrogant, the rest of us have our feet firmly planted on the floor and are having great times in fact having the time of our lives supporting this club, , how the hell does this come to your mind things are going great guns and you start to worry about some of our fans getting arrogant.

or how about.....

we are all
we're impeccable
we are all
we're impeccable
just like the fans who like a lovely pot of tea
we're impeccable

ps...i'll stop now ;)

I think i did say it was a minority starting to creep in?I am also having the time of my life,i have had to watch some dire crap since 1976 when we last won something before the Fa cup last season,so i am enjoying every minute.

It came to my mind because i have read it on forums and heard it at the odd match.Only a minority and by highlighting it i hope it stays that way.

My fear isn't that we fall flat on our face and become crap again,it is we become like the rags.

i used to love it when we were loved by everyone, even them lovely ragends takin the piss when they won the treble n were in the play-off final against gillingham, yeah it was great being everyone's second team.....yeah cheering and clappin back passes cos we were that shit!

ide swap all our so called arrogance(banter) just to bring them great days back.

shit fukin thread.

end of.

I think for a lot of fans it's not about arrogance it's learning to deal with the success syndrome.

True Blues haven't got an arrogant bone in their bodies. We don't do 'arrogance' that's not our style. We do wit, humour and self-ridicule.

The reality though is times are changing for Manchester City Footbal Club and the fans. People from other clubs can see this. The press, pundits and media can see this. They dont like it, but they can see it. As City fans we've carried a certain reputation around with us for years, a reputation that we're slowly begining to outgrow. For some fans it might feel awkward, others excited and for some just down right strange. We might be going through a transitional phase as a club and as a group of supporters - but arrogant? I don't think so.

Hello, hello.
We are the City boys
Hello, hello
We are the City boys
And if you are an opposition fan
We'll smother you with hugs, and tea and scones.
We all follow the City (but love each and every other club as well my good friends).

I think it could catch on.
