Time To Drop Robinho

Hold on a second, did nobody in this thread watch the Brazil game? This lad can play football and play football fucking well. What we have here is a manager that he is clearly regretting signing for. I would bet you £50 that a change of manager would see a change in this player for the better. (and probably the rest of them too)

But thats the point he can do it (and does do for Brazil), but he doesn't do it often enough for us

well everyone knew he was like this when we signed him so duno why your acting all suprised that he has off days, comparing him to messi and kaka is a bit harsh considering there team mates to robinho's

he was the worst player out there, that's why he came off. he gave away posession more than the rest of the team put together, which was quite an achievement. couldn't kick a bloody ball straight. everyone else at least was contributing SOMETHING to the game.

His pass success rate was 76% so he didn't give the ball away as much as you go on about. Everyone else contributed something to the game? I'd beg to differ. Along with Robinho there was Ireland, Elano and Bellamy who did very little today

Exactly he misplaced 5 passes, which is below his usual standard but some people do make ridiculous comments that make them look thicker than a nuclear bunker's walls.

Robbie made passes from all over the field so he wasn't just hiding away on the left wing; he was clearly below par although he wasn't given good service.

Well Robinho had similar team mates to them last year and he still wasn't world class!

No-one's doubting his talent, we just want him do to it more than the odd game here and there and AWAY FROM HOME!! We also just want to see him put a bit of graft in like he does for Brazil. For the money we paid we can't have him hiding when we need him most.

Tuesday for Brazil - he was amazing, never stopped running, always made himself available for the ball, fantastic, played brilliant against some top italian players and gave them a hard time

Saturday afternoon for us -10 minutes in and he can't be arsed, never moved, lost it all the time, give it away most of the time, body language shocking, comes up against shit defenders and doesn't even look like he's trying

so what does that say then?

I find it incomprehensible that a player would choose not to play for his manager. Its the fans, his team mates and most importantly the football club he should play for not because he doesn't see eye to eye with the manager.

He had a stinker today but I would in no way advocate dropping him unless he goes through a long bad spell. In case anyone's forgotten he is our main goal threat.

The fact we didn't win today is more down to our shocking away form which has been the same all season bar the odd exception. We can't seem to come up with a system to get our best players playing well away. Who's to blame?
