Time to move the family stand

Those rows tend to be given away to schools or clubs, if they want to do that put them up in the top tiers somewhere, put the £325 SSL3 people in the lower tiers and you will fill it. I pay basically £18 a game it’s unreal when I tell people that, to watch this team, however drop down to the bottom tier it’s at least double, ye I know you are closer but the view is brilliant in level 3, even if you drop down towards the front it’s fantastic. City want to sell out reduce prices down, let’s say £500 through the stadium just short of £25 a game, who could say they can’t afford that. If I put my ticket in the the exchange they try to sell it for about £40-50, very rarely a gets sold as it’s a single, stick it on for £25 I guarantee it would be sold, if City stop been greedy on those tickets they would be snapped up.
Good points made BM

I posted earlier in the thread about the family stand should be relocated to the North West corner
At the same time I'd reduce the number of season cards available for the family stand to about half of the capacity so that it gives lots of kids the chance to come to a game. And if people are buying for one off matches it encourages attendance.
I'd price the one off tickets for that area something like £30 for an adult and child

I’m in 93:20, dozens of Leeds fans sitting around me last week and several Leicester fans yesterday. I got bumped out of Colin Bell 1 after being told extra room was needed for wheelchair access. We were told 93:20 was only place they could guarantee 4 seats together. Horseshit.
It got a bit tempestuous against Leeds and I envisage worse in some “bigger” games ahead.
The whole seating issue needs addressing afresh. Bin the family stand; make north stand one big stand, fuck off for good any corporate ticket holder found selling their seat to non city fans. And let me have my old seat back!
I reckon your were lucky to get those 4 tickets in 93.20,or unlucky I don't know.
My mate who sat next to you lot was offered 2 seats at the back of 121 or 119 in the corner,he declined.
He's deferred for 1 year on his health grounds problems.
I told him to accept those seats because the next offered to him could be worse !

Iv been in ss3 since it opened
family stand for 3 years
and ss2 before that

If i was moved to the front in ss1 or ns 1
Id just stop going, you see 1 half of a game, the other you ( or me at least ) can't grasp what is going on the other half.
It happens on cup games if they gaive the whole of the ss3 to the away fans,we get relocated to 118,always near the front ,for me its a shite way to watch a game

We didn’t quite get 4 together, had to take two pairs, one behind the other. It’s a great view, nice seats, can have a pint after the game and getting served before the game and at half time is a breeze but the away fans mingling in with us does my nut in. Family of Leicester fans behind us, two Fiorentina fans in front of us, all in their scarves and taking pics etc. You know how good the seats we used to have were, fucking bollocks about wheelchair space, it was never an issue the previous 16 seasons.

I never thought the family stand was a great idea, and I was booted out of my seat to accommodate it.

However the number of empty seats all over the stadium is in the main because of Covid. People have deferred for a season and some are wary of being in crowds.

i agree mate
your seats and that area were great.
My mate Frank, was livid when they informed him about having to move.I think he will not come back alas, nearly 2 years since his last live home game.
Regarding away fans,it would drive me mad too,so much so i couldn't sit there, after a few beers tempers fray etc

Yep, I lost it with the Leeds blokes behind me, told them to fuck off into their end. They’d gone at half time but that’s was due to them getting blitzed on the pitch I think. Don’t mind the odd fan minding their own business in the home end, I’ve done it myself, but not dozens, in colours, sitting next / around me every game.
clearly corporate tickets being sold on but the club don’t seem arsed

I see some people want sit/stand where you want in safe standing areas. However it used to be the case that areas of unreserved seating could only be sold up to 80% of capacity. - I'm not sure if it's still the case but I was told that by a steward at an away game many years ago.
