Time to stand up and be counted…..

I really hope Pep can somehow pull this around, and what could possibly be better to rebuild confidence than a good performance and a win at Anfield next week???

Right now you can only imagine the solemn and dejected mood that must be in abundance at our daily training sessions ....
If the players are fighters they will try to get their chins up. Confidence has obviously been affected but the lads can either lift their spirits or accept being losers.

Too man fans forget about all the trophies and rush out to call the players “spineless”. If we have a trophy free season this year we just have to live with it:

Last nights latest worrying City shambles, this time on 'our own patch' , was as embarrassing as almost any defeat that United suffered under Ten Hag .... from the 12th minute onwards we looked atrocious as Spurs confidence and purpose grew by the minute, and their positive football almost completely took over what was left of the game .... really poor passing, rank bad defending, no cohesion or fluency, no City player is playing well, unless Haaland scores nobody does, and I really can't see what Pep is gonna do to turn this alarming slump around at the minute ...... unless we astound everybody and manage to pull off a minor miracle, surely another confidence sapping loss, this time at Anfield, will be shortly on the cards.

I would have really liked to have added something positive about City in last night's confidence draining annihilation, but unfortunately I've been unable to think of anything!!
Stay off line then.

You certainly know about solemnity and dejection.

Misery has found a mate.

Stay off line !!

Just got to that point in life where I can’t tolerate being treated like shit. I have sacked Anfield off after 40 years on away visits. Last year got hassle from their scumbag fans on the train going and back, in the town centre, and outside the ground. Plus being ripped off by taxis etc. Just don’t need that in my life any more. Still love most away trips though.

Jesus fucking wept.
I wouldn't want you in the trenches with me.
Using words such as shambles, embarrasing are simply not fair.
It was a poor performance. I have just watched the goals conceded and the.chances we missed. We gave them 2 goals. We missed so many chances. It will change

The concerning thing for me is that when we’ve had bad runs of form in the past we know we could snap out of it cause we have players coming back, different solutions etc. I don’t see that now. You look at the midfield and who the fuck do you play there to stop us getting ran through. We just have to get to January and buy 2/3 players. Something we haven’t done before but I honestly think we won’t make top 4 if we don’t

Us older fans have seen far, far worse than we’re seeing right now.
But we’ve been spoilt beyond our wildest dreams.
So, now’s the time,
The players,
The manager,
The coaches,
The fans,
To get our shoulders back, chest out and to bloody stand up and be counted.
Today needs to be our 1998 York City result and Tuesday needs to be our Wrexham result. The start of something special.
We can do it. We’re going through a tough patch but we can definitely do it.
Win, lose or draw, we’ll be with you.
We fight to the end and now is the time we really need to fight.
Come on you blue boys.
CTID
Of course we're with City.

At the same time, pointing out what we think went wrong in this forum doesn't make us anti-City.

It's a shame the ticket pricing is what it is. My first instinct after last night was to try and get a ticket for the Feyernoord game, to show up and get behind the team, but there's only so much I'm willing to pay for football. Big month with Christmas coming up too. Sure a lot of people will be feeling the same.
