Time to support Aguero and Dzeko

We could play Silva or Nasri up front, either as a support striker or as a false nine in a front three if necessary.

I agree that Edin doesnt look fit, poss knee and shoulder, i really want to know what the option is to bring Ade back from the Spuds for 2 reasons,

1 out of spite to give Rosey 47 somthing else to chew on

2 cover if either of our 2 get injured

one last question, if we sell tevez for say 25M, who would agree with me in approaching Chelski with an offer of 25M for Torres ? or part exchange with Ade the other way ?
So you would bring in Torres who has only scored 2 PL goals in 17 games to replace Dzeko in the starting lineup, who has scored 11 PL goals?

No mate its horses for courses who partners Sergio but i think Dzeko and Kun look more of a threat starting together, get the Jackal off the books for no less than 25M and offer it Chelsea in this window for Torres, if they refuse than i think were taking a chance at the runnin with only our 3 we have.

Torres??? Really? How bad does he need to get before people realise he is not what he was? Out of form for club(s) and country for TWO AND A HALF YEARS, is being at City going to suddenly make him convert those open net chances and sitters he constantly misses? Torres is a spent force, even 15 goals a season would be disappointing compared to what he was and he can't even get that many it seems.

With what Torres would cost we could near enough get a consistent and top class striker like Cavani, Van Persie, Higuain, Soldado, or Falcao who have good conversion rates and are better strikers here in 2012. I'd even take strikers like Ba, Huntelaar, and Lewandowski over Torres, at least they are clinical if not world class.

I have 100% confidence on Dzeko. He gets some stick but I think the guy is awesome. He must start the next 4 games and get his confidence back! He's in and out of the starting XI and I think it upsets his game more than others. Start him and play him for 90mins if fit.

I do think that Aguero & Dzeko make the best partnership. Could kick right off the next 4 games, I'm hoping it will!

Dzeko already looks like he's injured to me..
thats what i thought too

he kept holding his shoulder aswell

Probably trapped it in a door!!

This has got to be a piss take as he's been with us for 12 months and I've yet to see him trap anything.

having only seen dzeko on youtube and the odd tv appearance v the rags it seems he scored most of his goals from crosses.either in the air or even on the floor. we simply do not play that way. so the question is why the hell did we b uy him? a bit like andy carrol who looked ok at newcastle if not worth 35 mil but liverpool have not got the best out of him. torres scored most of his goals from through balls when he was on fire at liverpool. what other team scores or attempts to with through balls rather than long punts and crosses. hmm. us i would say. i think torres could do well for us but await the expected vitriol for suggesting this.

I wouldn't mind seeing us play with just one pure striker tonight, Aguero, with Silva just behind him and Nasri to the left, Johnson to the right.
When Aguero has given his all, sub him for Dzeko.

I wouldn't call that a weakened offence at all.
