Time Travel

It cannot be possible.

If it was possible we'd already know because time travelers would be amongst us or there would be 800 billion people at the Sermon on the Mount.

Also, it violates pretty much every known law of physics.

Those cavaets out of the way, yeah why not?

This. The only way you can possibly alter time in any noticeable way is through orbiting larger objects.

Going back in time through a machine will always be science fiction.

Travelling forward in time is possible if you are in a ship that can achieve reletivistic speeds.

Just got back from the 2217...united fans are still cunts, according to the plaque in the natural history museum. Most of them became Swansea fans after the Welsh "drugs in the water" episode of 2022.

This is something that should come with the STs. We could decide on Saturday afternoon whether turning up was gonna be worthwhile. We would see the Mangler og, followed by the The Old House at Home defending, and go to the Christmas markets instead!

It is possible, ive done it. When i flew from Manchester to New York my flight was at 1pm, the flight was around 7 hours but i landed in New York at 3pm.... Fucking Spooky. When i tell people they either laugh at me or call me a stupid ****, but i know it happened.

Backwards time travel is theoretically possible by several different methods using general relativity.

No it isn't, in fact that is one of the fundamental basis of general relativity.

"Theoretically" means "if we forget the laws of physics" and under that idea, I could fly on a rainbow shitting unicorn tomorrow.

"Backwards time travel is theoretically possible by several different methods using general relativity. However, each of these methods has its own peculiar problems that could destroy the time machine before it has a chance to operate. Perhaps we can find one time machine among the lot which holds the most promise of taking us to the past."

"There's nothing in Einstein's theory that precludes time travel into the past."
