After long thought about the coach trip to this game we changed our minds.
The way back sounds like a pure nightmare.
We are booked on Easyjet flight 2075 from Luton Dep 18 August 2010 13:15
My mate is driving from Manchester and picking me up in Huddersfield then down the M1 to Luton.
Our flight back is on the Friday from Budapest

And then drive back up the M1 and accross to Manchester.
This is the hotel we booked for Budapest which is near the Keleti Railway Station

Then the train from Keleti Railway Station direct to Timasoara which departs 07:13
and arrives Timasoara 13.03 return fare of £74

Around 4 hours of direct train travel.

Leave Friday morning for the 06:54 from Timasoara train station to Budapest arriving at 10:47 then the day to have a few more beers and make our way to the airport for the 17:15 flight back to Luton then up M1 drop off Huddersfield then over to Manchester.
Is anyone interested in the car share to Luton and back? Parking and petrol split 3/4 ways?
Also maybe even maybe a split cost of the hire car/lift to use the car route to Timasoara instead of the train maybe?
The hotels work out at 50 Euro to split between 2 so around £21 each for both nights.
Just booked the Luton airport parking which was £23, split 2 ways at the moment.
Petrol would be about £60 in total so around £20 per person for 4, atm it is split as around £40 each with 2 of us.
If anyone is interested pm me and I'll get straight back to you.
Basic cost per person is
£186 Flights (cost us today)
£74 Rail fare (or car hire share?)
£21 2 nights Hotels
Total = £281.00
