I didnt see much power in the Barca team last night. To me we have nothing to lose as he will come on a free. He obviously wont be able to demand ridiculous wages these days (and we could afford them anyway) and he is still based in the north west. I think he and Bellamy could take turns in playing! Everton will go for him and I wouldnt be heartbroken if he didnt come here, but as I said we have not much to lose really if we do get him and maybe he might regain his old form. He is ideal for Stevie and Robinho to thread balls through for him.

He's on a free so a pay as you pay deal would be great. He's still a good player when fit...however rare that is...and is a much better option coming off the bench then Vass, Benjani, Chad
