True but he certainty didn't dismiss it when asked about a potential move to us at the U21 Euros.
Fair enough.
I didn't see that.

Name the right backs that are better than him and available for us to buy.In terms of quality we can do better and besides that Newcastle aren't going to sell him directly to a rival. They have already dissmissed Liverpool's interest in Isak.
And, honestly, was he worth it?
Dumfries for starters although technically he is a wing back and age is against him as a new player coming from the Serie A to the Premier League. We missed a trick with Frimpong but Nunes has earned his chance to stake a claim.Name the right backs that are better than him and available for us to buy.
In my view Frimpong is more a wing back than Dumfries. Dumfries also offers a real threat at corners and set pieces. If we can navigate the home grown challenge he’s great value for the price.Dumfries for starters although technically he is a wing back and age is against him as a new player coming from the Serie A to the Premier League. ExactlyNot at £100 million
Chalk and cheese imo but my opinion is irrelevant City decide to go ahead with the purchas. In my view Frimpong is more a wing back than Dumfries. Dumfries also offers a real threat at corners and set pieces. If we can navigate the home grown challenge he’s great value for the price.
Livramento is 22, Cash is 27.£40-£50 million better? Not in my opinion.
It's how much WE want him that counts. If we pony up he will be a City player, if we don't, then obviously he won't.I don't think some on here understand that Livranento is happy at Newcastle and they don't want to sell him.
No aggro mate, I just don’t understand or agree with your points. Let’s leave it there. No he was already established when we bought him. Lose the aggro.
That sounds so arrogant and raggish. What about Newcastle have him under contract till June 2028 and don't want to sell him. And what about Livranento saying he's happy where he is. It's not as though he has told his agent and the club he wants out is it?It's how much WE want him that counts. If we pony up he will be a City player, if we don't, then obviously he won't.
He's on 50k PW at Newcastle, no way he's turning down a chance to play for City and probably trebling his wage at the same time.
Nope not arrogant or rag like at all. They will have a valuation, either we pay it or we don't. It's as simple as that. It's not difficult to understand. That sounds so arrogant and raggish. There's nothing in this happening as of yet and I can't see anything happening. And I'll be surprised if we are daft enough to pay well over what he's worth. Are we that desperate for him? I don't think so.
He has 3 years left. I think they are fine right now. There is enough time to hand him a new contract also we don’t know what’s going on behind the scenes. We haven’t given Rodri a new contract yet eitherNope not arrogant or rag like at all. They will have a valuation, either we pay it or we don't. It's as simple as that. Newcastle are that desperate to keep him that he's not been offered a new contract on anywhere near the money he could get elsewhere.
Most top club's would be sorting out a new contract for him in the situation of other top clubs sniffing around.
Ever thought about that?
£55mill for Elanga, £30+mill for Trafford and £30+mill for the CB from Atalanta perhaps, if they come off then they have a negative balance so far. They do have another £15+mill incoming for Lloyd Kelly's permanent move to Juventus (again, pure profit as they got him on a free 12 months back). The more PSR headroom they can get for themselves is better for them obviously but looks like they're about to shift Longstaff to leeds for 10mil+ so that's pure profit.
This isn't going to be cheap either way.

Wesley is an interesting prospect too. Cambiasso too some extent but he was more than likely to expensive. In my view Frimpong is more a wing back than Dumfries. Dumfries also offers a real threat at corners and set pieces. If we can navigate the home grown challenge he’s great value for the price.
