Name the right backs that are better than him and available for us to buy.In terms of quality we can do better and besides that Newcastle aren't going to sell him directly to a rival. They have already dissmissed Liverpool's interest in Isak.
And, honestly, was he worth it?
Not at £100 million
Dumfries for starters although technically he is a wing back and age is against him as a new player coming from the Serie A to the Premier League. We missed a trick with Frimpong but Nunes has earned his chance to stake a claim.Name the right backs that are better than him and available for us to buy.

In my view Frimpong is more a wing back than Dumfries. Dumfries also offers a real threat at corners and set pieces. Livramento is 22, Cash is 27.£40-£50 million better? Not in my opinion.
Livramento is rapid and can run all day, he's got an amazing engine, if we are keeping the high defensive line (which we will) we need some Walker like insurance at the back, and he's as good as it gets, especially for a HG player.

He's on 50k PW at Newcastle, no way he's turning down a chance to play for City and probably trebling his wage at the same time.

£55mill for Elanga, £30+mill for Trafford and £30+mill for the CB from Atalanta perhaps, if they come off then they have a negative balance so far. They do have another £15+mill incoming for Lloyd Kelly's permanent move to Juventus (again, pure profit as they got him on a free 12 months back).The more PSR headroom they can get for themselves is better for them obviously but looks like they're about to shift Longstaff to leeds for 10mil+ so that's pure profit.
This isn't going to be cheap either way.
