titbits, or titantic?

Could it be that the banks being in a nervous state have told the rags to reduce their outstanding loan by a considerable amount meaning a sale of serious proportions in January

AIG's minutes (not days) are numbered I hear.

Please elaborate, I'm very much all ears...

Well I hope to god that a rescue package is put together for AIG tonight. Believe me no-one should be celebrating the demise of a company that will affect so many peoples lives. Football is just a game and the RAGs will only get another sponsor.

Well said, hurricane Ike ripped the arse out of Texas....billions worth of damage. Think that is one of the main reasons for AIG's situation at the mo.

Is it true AIG will call in a considerable chunk of the debt (1/3 approx)..?

There are parties considering it (a rescue package). From a philanphropists point of view it's needed. A lot of banks were insured with them and are in deep if they go down. And I can't stand many more long days at work because of this situation.

On a football point, let 'em go down. Its not only AIG, but surely it'd hit the Glazers in the pocket??
