Title Race 2020/21

forget the results of others ? we have to get our shit together after the covid-19 outbreak at the club

results going our way means nothing if we don't win our games in hand. the way its gone this season city are not fully right and its a working progress. aguero been a big miss jesus form patchy at best and the games have been bloody hard to win even at home

but the light at the end of the tunnel is we may get a new face in ? and get back aguero and jesus and it will start to click again. if you offered us a chance to be only a point behind the leads after christmas and new year i would have bitten your hand off

We're unbeaten in 10 and the form side in the league, best defence in Europe and no opposition player has scored against us since Spurs in November. We have already sorted ourselves out incase you missed the last month.

We aren't getting any new faces in either, I cant believe anyone really believes we will.

I don’t think we will bring anyone in neither,we don’t need to,all as we need is a clean bill of health between now and the end of the season (whenever that might be) as we have a squad capable of winning a few trophies this season minimum

That's an impressive stat. When we let in five against Leicester, I thought we were going to see a repeat of last season but the turnaround since then has caught me by surprise. I hate using cliches but title wins more often than not are built on a solid defence and right now we certainly have one.

It’s frustrating as @super_city_si alluded, those rascal dippers will be 10 pts clear by month end (:

we are sitting perfectly now, slumped into form and imo will be right at it from here on in... how we are placed so fortunately going into Jan is beyond me but we are and our experience will bring this home

City win their games in hand they'll e right up there in the mix of it. They seem to have overcome whatever wobbles they were going through before December. Solid, without being spectacular, run of form.

The biggest obstacle is this covid outbreak and the fallout from it.

If we have a slice of luck and there's no more infections and everyone who tested positive is asymptomatic or recovers quickly then we are strong favourites for the title.

Liverpool are creaking badly, and the worst is yet to come for them with injury fallout, the guys who have stayed fit have been overplayed and will crash in the second half of the season.

Villa, Everton, Leicester just don't have the squads or experience to have staying power.

Chelsea and Spurs have shown their big flaws.

United are riding high on a classic Ole wave, but history suggests whenever they start flying, a run of bad results that leaves him clinging onto his job is just around the corner.

Let me finish....10 pts clear of arsenal. Thank you ;)

United are a lot like Leicester in that they're capable of destroying teams uf they're given space to counter but have no ability to break a team down that plays them at their own game and cannot rest key players without dropping points

we are still not right in terms of playing and killing teams off ? like i said we are a working progress at the moment and missed having a striker with aguero been out and jesus form patchy. the unbeaten in 10 comes with draws and cup games and city are 8th for a reason ?

if we can bring in somebody a (striker) even a loan or free agent then why ? not it makes sense having another option
