To boo or not to boo?

You think we'd get 20000 tickets for the final. Will be closer to half that.

As for the question. Boo them louder than ever, you can't boo them throughout the competition trying to make a point and then stop when you've got the biggest audience watching taking notice. To suddenly stop booing whilst we have a genuine chance of reaching the final or even winning it is true rag behaviour.

I think the pointnhas been made. I actually laughed at it on Wed as I couldn't believe how loud it was. I think if we keep doing it we'll just appear bittercand small time. Oh, and not wanting to start a conspiracy theory here, but why the fuck would UEFA want to have fans at their show piece event who boo their anthem?

In my mind it would be better if someone could word some sort of protest song (chant) which could be sung during the Anthem !

It's run it's course and to be honest I think even suggesting this kind of behaviour at the semi-final stage of European football's premier football tournament should indeed be taboo.

Yes. You can't boo 10 games in a row this season then stop near the end when it looks like we might win it. Stopping at the end of the season could be seen as reasonable as the point could be seen to have been made. But stopping now would make the City fans look unbelievably supine.

I hate uefa with a passion, and always boo their anthem accordingly. What they, and Fifa stand for is horrible - greedy, arrogant, corrupt people looking after their own interests, and those who pass them the most money. However there is a genuine dilemma - I love City a lot more than I hate the cunts at UEFA, and us booing their anthem at normal games when there are other games taking place is one thing, however the implications for those greedy corrupt shagfuckers of 20,000 City fans booing their anthem at their showpiece final in front of all their sponsors and hundreds of millions of tv viewers would surely be too much for them to take, and I would imagine the refs in the semi final will be told to make the right decision to stop us getting there if Real don't, so to boo or not to boo, that is the question?

Edit sorry about the extra o in to in the thread, it won't let me change it

You're fighting a losing battle. There's no chance that it will not be booed against Madrid, or at the final if we qualify.

Perhaps we could agree a consensus? Boo for the rest of this season and then stop next season (if we're in it).
