To Cook, Khaldoon and Mansour - Ref Mancini

It's a no-brainer. We have to stick by Mancini who has proven his ability before today's game by gelling a team that is not his own. The man has tremendous ability, insight, integrity and clearly knows how to man-manage. Forget the surly, spoilt and defensive minded Mourinho, we have a potential football managing giant with us at the moment. Give him encouragement and support to qualify for the Champions League and then the cheque book to bring in the quality box-to-box midfielders that, I'm sure, he knows we need and then it's upwards and onwards with Mancini. Believe fellow blues!!

Roberto Mancini must not be allowed to leave this club.

All those that said about his negativity, well, 14 goals in 3 games isn't to bad, is it?

Bobby Manc is starting to get to grips with the Prem and the differences between Serie A and our league. What was refreshing to read was something he wrote in todays programme,

We must finish well and we must concentrate 100% to get 4th place because we have 6 games that are all very difficult.

Then we will think about next season and i can assure everyone at City that i intend on being here and not back in Italy as some papers there suggested last week.

I really hope the club stands by Mancini, as i honestly believe he is the best manager this club has had in my 32 years of life.

"We don't need no Phil Scolari,
We don't need Mourinho,
Hey Khaldoon,
Leave Bobby alone"

You would have to be extremely daft to replace Bobby.

I dont think the sheik is daft, so Bobby should be safe.

(I hope)

So you are a big fan then?

Some people will not be happy unless we are back in mediocracy.

yes i am a fan of our manager he is doing a good job but to say he may be our greatest manager in 30 years with only being here for 5 months is a little ott so please dont criticize what you don't understand!

the guys name is BOBBY MANC and hes got us into 4th place in 5 months of course keep him and hes cool as shit i mean casualy chilling on the sideline then going wild at mois gota keep him

It is hard to imagine any manager doing any better than Bobby. We have got a gem and the sooner everyone understands that the better.

The team spirit seems fantastic and the players are obviously enjoying themselves and have bonded.

Well done Bobby, he has done the impossible in a very short time.

We have our very own SPECIAL ONE, he is Manc-ini!

I will own up to not being impressed when he was appointed but now words of the Monkees "I'm a BELIEVER".

Some people on here..

Mancini wasn´t a instant idea by our board as they looked for a temporary replacement to Hughes, Mancini was contacted more than a year ago by Cook in Milano, they even had dinner together while everyone was going on about the Kaka saga that eventually flopped.
He was on stand-by all the time..I bet he was even paid a monthly salary to just wait for the moment he was needed because it wasn´t like he lacked offers from other clubs.

If Abu Dhabi gave Hughes a season and a half..Mancine will probably get something similar before they review his performance.
The Sheikhs in general are great believers in letting people show what they can do before they judge them.

I agree. If he does stay, which it seems like he wants to, I cant wait to see what he can do when he brings in some of is own signings. hopefully he can find a few more jems like adam johnson!

Name me a manager that was more tactically sound, turned a sieve of a defence to a rock, and got a team into the top 4 by only signing 2 of his own players?

Im not criticising what you've said, would just like to know the name of the manager you deem to be better?

IN MANCINI WE TRUST!!!!!

what a performance yesturday...........AGAIN!!!!! roberto has turned things around and I am 100% behind this man for the future.

with a mark hughes team he has sorted our defence (which looked like mission impossible), gelled the team, played to our strengths and for all the early criticism we are now playing some nice football. we are moving the ball about well, creating chances, scoring chances, closing down spaces, chasing down every ball etc etc etc.

I hope he stays in the summer and beyond.
