To Mr Roberto Mancini.

I think it's harder to get into the Top 4 than it is to take a Top 4 team and win it. Just my opinion though.
Normally I'd agree with that but there was a place there for the taking with Liverpool's demise. Yet another example of Mancini's ability to be lucky maybe?

But in another sense you're right as the other three teams are getting weaker while we're getting stronger so getting to the top shouldn't be that difficult in theory.
Luck always plays its part.
It does and I'd rather have a lucky manager like Mancini than an unlucky one like Wenger or Holloway.

we've had a fantastic end to the season and for all the ifs and buts we must be pleased overall. one thing it has done is show us we can play the right way and win.there is now no reason to go back to the defensive shit game after game.the entire footballing world agreed that we were too slow in our play, way too negative.now we have opened up we will be world beaters.of course we have to still resort to a more measured approach in some games as it would be stupid to go gung ho at some of the harder teams we face.
the bottom line is that we now have much more hope for next season, i never wanted mancini out but would have took jose should he want the job, even with his self centred antics, now after seeing bob do his u turn i would'nt swop him with anyone.

i hope next season if he finds himself stuck again he'll come to me sooner.

lol de inro.. if only....

If only you knew. He came to see de niro about a nice roll of Axminster and he locked RM in the back room while he gave him a piece of his mind.

To be fair, Mancini sets up the team to benefit from good fortune and minimize ill fortune. Contrast that with Wenger and Holloway, especially the latter.

Proved so many of the Halfwits on here wrong- Well done Roberto
I'm probably one of those halfwits you're referring to. I'm delighted that he has proved me wrong. He did seem to change his outlook during the late winter/early spring period. Up until then, the football wasn't the most inspiring stuff we'd seen, and I often said that if only he'd take the leash off, we would then see just how good the squad was. Thankfully, we saw somewhere near our true potential for the crucial run-in. Perhaps that is why he is the manager, and I'm not. Anyway, my apologies and sincere thanks to Bob. Now; where did I leave that humble pie?
Wasn't aimed at anyone mate- but it used to really piss me off when he was getting stick on here. We have been top 4 all season but I like many Blues were waiting for typical City to kick in. But for the blips on Merseyside it never really looked like happening.

The stupidity of some people following the 0-0 with Arsenal was a particularly memorable feat of cretinous bollocks talking. That approach was always about preventing the Arse picking up three points. A few months later and voila, we finish above them and go straight to the group stages.

Forza Bobby.

Spot on. That point was so important, if we'd had a go at them and got beaten, we wouldn't have clinched 3rd... fact.

I'm going to play devils advocate here.........if we believed in ourselves and played to our potential we could of got 3 points and finished runners up in the League ;-)
