If Yugoslavia hadn't fallen apart our league would be at the same level as Portugal's with at least one regular place in CL and one for CL qualifiers with occasional CL title contenders. Then you would see the true potential NT squad that was known as European Brasil due to technical style of play and beautiful football. With currently active players the team would look like this.

Zlatan Ibrahimović
Amazing! I never knew that Sweden was part of Yugoslavia before the breakup. You learn something every day...

I think its brilliant. MCFC has the best fans in England (Up there with Liverpool). As an Eastern European I used to look down on Western European fans until I came across MCFC in 2005. They are really loud and I think you guys are blessed to have such loud, passionate, and understanding fans. I been following MCFC before Dzeko arrived, my hate for United gave me a passion for City.

Wish the best to City, just please take a dump on United this season...
Ahaha, what? You're a dippers fan arent you?

I love the bandwaggoning from the bosnians though, brilliant stuff. I actually canceled my order of the new Dzeko kit because I realised all the bosnians that live in my city would keep cheering at me across the street. It's all good that you support your national hero but, please, stop claiming to be City fans all of a sudden. I bet 100% of the bosnians that have suddenly became supporters (even the ones that have countless replica United shirts and probably cheered for United every time they watched a match) cant even name any of the players we had before the Sheikh took over.

Sorry, rant over.

This is such a douchebag post, to be honest.

I thought it had some merit until I read you're from Slovenia, calling Bosnians bandwagon fans. It's ironic, really.

Fact of the day: more than 50% of Slovenian national squad are born Bosnian :-) who exiled during the war. From goalkeeper and on.

Let people root for whomever they associate with and stfu mate - no need to disrespect anyone like that.

-- Wed Aug 31, 2011 2:48 pm --

Bosnia should win... Dzeko is on fire, Pjanic is on fire, Spahic is on fire. No excuses. If we don't win, we don't deserve to make it.

Completely disagree.

Belarus at home are tough to beat by anyone.

With that patchwork back four (average CB playing RB, etc, etc.) due to injuries we will concede at least two IMO. That means we need at least 3 to win, and I just dont see that happening.

Given circumstances, draw is golden - and then we get at them at home.

So you criticize him, and then you do the same shit thing with dissecting Slovenian NT...

@Nino
I'm afraid they will start cheering at you with any City shirt and name. So, tough times ahead...

I have another question for our Balkans (might be dumb..)

Before the yugoslav wars, was there a Yugoslavian football team? And would serbs, croats, bosnians, and the rest all play on the same national squad? A yugoslav football team would be pretty damn good nowadays

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yugoslavia ... ive_record

We southerner's like more pacy cheering, thus this:

But yours ain't bad one bit :)

P.S. I'm a Rag fan (since 1993), but ofc I'm also a Dzeko fan and I've been following this forum ever since Dzeko joined and cheering for City on every game I've watched. So this season I hope City wins the premier league (cause you guys deserve it with this team), so next season can be exciting as hell and a true all-out competition between the 2 Manchester clubs :)

for real

or am i having my leg pulled
get used to it mate, they'll be more to come i'm afraid. :(

Speaking of brilliant, I took my time to read some of your comments from the past. I wanted to see what HARD CORE MAN CITY FAN had to say, so I can learn from and be more like you. I've noticed that you have joined this forum years and years before us in July 2010.

Here are few comments of yours:

I forgot how much I hated bosnian commentators, whoa.

It sounds like he's yelling down a 2€ mic from his local supermarket.

Also, I find it pretty amusing how a bunch of eastern europeans started showing up here on the forums after the Dzeko rumours got serious.

I just saw the interview and I gotta say I cringed at half of that. Both Edins and the interviewers lines.

He just comes across as insincere to me. Typical mercenary lines. "Oh yeah, City are a really big team, I've known about them for my entire life, you were my first choice all along!!"

Right..

Lets just hope he's not another Ade.

(sorry for being a cynic)

This last one is my favorite comment of yours. I am sure that the rest of MC fans are so happy to have YOU there with them. Did sheik ask you to supply him with your DNA sample so he can clone a bunch of you?

I wonder what other MCFC fans think of you and your comments?

Are we born as fans or we become one later on in life? What is the criteria to become MCFC fan? Do I have to take a test or I have to make an oath in front of the judge? Is there a probation period or do I have to do series of challenges to become Man City fan?
Please spare us Bosnians from your comments about us and Dzeko.

Yes, I became MCFC fan after Dzeko joined the team.

- I watched every MCFC game since then
- I subscribed to Setanta because watching over the web is just not good enough anymore
- I recorded all MCFC games on my PVR
- I leave my work 3 hrs early when City is playing. I have to come up with excuses: Doctors appt, child is sick, dentist, have to fix my car, don't feel well and of course, one that can not be denied, a funeral.
- I want City to win Premiership, FA Cup, CL and FIFA club WC
- I am happy when City win and I am sad when City lose
- I scream, yell and sometimes curse at TV screen while watching City games
- I also purchased Dzeko kit that you didn't buy

And for the end, YES, I love when Dzeko scores and I want him to contribute heavily in City's first PL trophy in a long time.

Let Bosnians have fun and don't hate us because Dzeko is not Slovenian.

Take it easy guys and enjoy football ;)

p.s. To our friends from Manchester on here... I'm amazed by the friendliness most of you show on this forum. Classy!

oh how could us people be so stupid :(
