To Those going to Amsterdam

Trip highlights for me:

1) The two massive Alan chants in the Irish bar (if you can call it that) on the ferry from Hull.

2) Getting a group of random girls to join in with an at least 5 minute Toure chant.

3) Having my glasses taken by one of those girls only for her to find me again on the dance floor in the midst of 2 Unlimited give me them back on then join in with the rest of the dance.

4) The atmosphere everywhere around the City and in the ground.

5) Realising I needed to stop mid celebration of the Nasri goal because I was sat in the Ajax end behind the goal.

Lows:

1) The result obviously.

2) Being sat in the Ajax end.

3) The Rags inevitably coming back to beat Braga.

4) The ferry was a nightmare on the way back.

5) Coming back to see all the same old bullshit in the press.

the white tulip on the tuesday was rocking ! when that guy came in on all 4 doing press ups with a plant pot on his head was my highlight of the trip was funny sittin on his back.

Had a great time in Amsterdam. Saw the trouble kick off and you could feel it building up for about 1/2 an hour, the final straw that pushed it over the edge was when this guy turned up.

First time away in europe had a great time except for the result. met some good guys in and around the bulldog, just wish i had arrived in the dam on the tuesday so i could of enjoyed it more.
guy on the scooter outside the bulldog was hilarious. oh and thanks to heston look alike for rolling me my first fat one.
