Bump

Looks like the NOTW might of got this one right!! apparently we're about to announce some kind of accademy deal (where we pinch their up coming stars)with Sporting Lisbon. From what i have heard this kid is the hottest talent in portugal, with people from in the club raving he will be the new Tranny.

We've already agreed it, United had an association with them but that has now expired & not been renewed because of their relationship breakdown over Veloso. I read an article on it a couple of days ago - here it is.. http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2010 ... ing-lisbon

like the link for that guardian piece the fixer. does anyone know where in midfield this kid plays?

it would be good for us to get some younger players and bring them throught the academy, hopefully they can break ito the first tema and shut up all the jelous united spurs etc fans who i've recently heard saying "city go against what football stand for, a good football club brings players through th academy rather than throwing money at them" of course this is bull if you look a richards, onuaha, ireland etc... but still.
